When a firefighter told me how the face, lip and body butter was helping his dry hands from the constant hand-washing and gloves, I wanted to do more.
And that’s when it hit me: first responders. These men and women risk their health every day when they go to work. Many have kids at home they’re advised not to cuddle with. And many chose to separate from their families to help protect them. They’re seeing and handling things you and I can’t imagine.
They’re taking care of everyone around them, and I wanted to do something for them. I don’t make PPE I can donate but inspired by the firefighter’s words, I thought the butters could help.
In about a week, Red Pantz has donated over 100 butters to first responders, such as firefighters and nurses caring for Covid-19 patients in the South Bay. And I plan to continue for as long as I can.
If you feel inspired to do the same, please consider joining me.
Get one, Give one…and enjoy 10% off
In this spirit, I’m launching a new program: Get one, Give one.
Get something for yourself, then buy something for a first responder. I recommend the
- fun-size face, lip and body butter for dry hands,
- soothing tea for stress, or
- ginger tea for some digestion love for those on the front lines.
At checkout, leave me a note with the item(s) you want to donate to our first responders from your total order. Currently, I’m sending donations to a South Bay hospital.
To sweeten the deal, I’m offering 10% off your entire order. Just enter TOGETHER at checkout.
And to give you credit for your donation, I’ll be showing your first name and city on the Red Pantz website—unless you ask me not to!
Thank you for considering this program as a way to help support our first responders.
Please stay safe and healthy!
